Ana Maria De La Cruz Is All 4Content

Why do mothers make such great entrepreneurs?  Because it is in our nature, genes, and job descriptions to identify problems and fix them...with little or no money to spare and great, big, optimistic smiles on our faces.  The option of saying “it can’t be done” does not apply to motherhood. We merely question “how” and then come up with plausible solutions that, ultimately, make the lives of those in need both happier and simpler.

It is what Ana Maria De La Cruz has done since she trail-blazed her way out of the Dominican Republic and into Canada and the web services industry.  This resourceful lady has spent the last decade pioneering “pushing content” for individuals and businesses who are stumped by the acquisition of eyeballs or the avoidance of ad blocking software while, single-handedly, raising three kids.  I say “Who better than a mother to figure out how to do this given we spend our lives coercing our kids into listening to us amidst all of the noise, road blocks, complaints and arguments to the contrary!” And yet, somehow, our words sink in!

The fact that Ana Maria De La Cruz is bilingual makes her a double threat.  Little wonder, she just was recently featured in the Huffington Post and why I wanted to expand on their interview with one of my own, found below.  Enjoy what you learn about the lady that is doing us 'social media mom influencers' proud.

What is your full name?

Ana Maria De La Cruz

What is your personal mantra?

Take a chance; be a winner!

Tell us about your life, including where you live, number of children and anything else you would like to share.

This is ironic. I was born and raised in a small village deprived of electricity in Dominican Republic and now I live in Canada and offer web services! Who would have believed it!

In my village, the girls married very young (15-17) and have children. They take care of the house, the children, and their husbands. The men worked outside in the agriculture field or animal husbandry and take care the family (‘money’ speaking).

Very young, I knew that I didn’t want to live that kind of life. To follow my feelings, I had to fight against my family, my culture, and the values that have been inculcated to me.

But it was worth it. Today, I’m an independent woman living in a Canada and doing business in internet. On top of been a businesswoman, I’m a single and happy mom of three and I love running.

Do you believe you have a “life’s purpose?”  If so, share it.

I know I’m an inspiration for my family. I come from a family of 11 children. When they see what I passed through, they say “Everything is possible!”.

Finish this sentence, “The best part about being a mom is that?”

I know what true love is. Now I understand what my mother meant when she said “Doesn’t matter who you will become, I will ALWAYS love you!” I know now she meant it!

What is the name of your blog?  When was it launched?

4Content Media - It was launched fall 2016.

I know how hard it is for small businesses to get ‘online’ presence. I also know the power of content marketing to expose businesses to enthusiastic prospects. So I decided to create 4Content Media and help them get web exposure through content. I picked a name that can tell this message by itself.

What is the primary focus of your blog and what do you hope to accomplish through it?

It provides content creation to help small businesses get ‘online’ presence.

Do you blog for other blogs or sites?

Yes, I blog in their behalf. I do ghost writing.

Which social media outlet (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc) do you find most useful?

For business, Linkedin. For family and friends, Facebook.

What is the one piece of advice you would give to those who may be interested in beginning a blog?

First: you need to know why you want to blog. I wrote this article that may help those that want to start a blog “Thinking in blogging your way to dollars”.

Second: keep in mind that blogging needs time. If you have a blog, you need to fill it with content. Writing and audience growth takes time.

Third: Before blogging for others, do it for yourself.

Share the 2-3 blogs that you follow.

read about so many subjects and different websites. However, I like the content displayed by hubspot.com and socialmediaexaminer.com

Are you an entrepreneur or professional beyond your blog (and outside of being a mom)?  Please share.

Here a quick bio about me as professional:

I have been a serial entrepreneur in the Digital Marketing arena since 2004. In 2005, I co-founded a successful Hispanic Ad network, which I then sold to a media company in the USA in 2008. That network offered display media to ad agencies that were looking to target the Hispanic market within USA and LATAM.

In 2011, I co-founded an expansive blogger outreach network called BlogDash. It’s an easy-to-use Blogger Outreach Software platform to streamline communication between PR agencies/brands and bloggers. I was in charge of the bloggers community.

In 2016, I created 4Content Media. The boutique internet marketing firm provides content marketing services such as Content creation, link building and blogger outreach.

When all is said and done, how do you want to be remembered?

As someone that accomplished her dreams (personally and professionally) by following her feelings. Never gave up!

There is no doubt that Ana Maria De La Cruz and 4Content Media are tackling and solving two of the toughest problems social media and online marketing are facing today.  But given her “can do” attitude and extensive track record of success, this enterprising and resourceful mother will make you, your business or social media venture 'cents' from her own sharp sense.  She’s a cut above the rest in this space, I assure you.
