Collin Morgan Shares The "Love" Through Hip2Save

When I came across Hip2Save, I said to myself, “Yay!!! Another mom who really thinks how I do!”  For years, I’ve known it was ‘cool’ to save.  Why do you think I’m such a big Walmart shopper?

In my opinion, no matter how much money you have, saving money is never invaluable or ridiculous.  Whether you keep it or distribute your savings outward to an alternate option, the luxury of doing so only arises when you have those dollars in hand.

Suffice-it-to-say, Collin Morgan’s intelligent and exciting site (yes, I said ‘exciting’), Hip2Save, became a regular visit for me during the recent holidays. I saved money on a ton of items, including some great magnetic blocks for my six year-old, which he uses every morning -- allowing me to sleep past 5:30am. This woman comes up with some nifty items no other site offers, I assure you.  Pure gems!

I also love the fact that Hip2Save provides me the opportunity to support an endearing personality and mom who seems to be rather grateful for all that she has and "is" and shares that gratitude through her upbeat and clever site. Shopping through Hip2Save makes me feel as if I am strolling, effortlessly and enjoyably, through a really great store with my best friend. Not many online ‘savings’ venues offer that type of experience.

For this reason (and dozens more), I recommend you become acquainted with Collin Morgan and Hip2Save. You will benefit from befriending both, beyond just momentary holiday savings, although, keep in mind that this coming Sunday IS Valentine’s Day.  “Love” and “Savings” needn’t be mutually exclusive. Let Collin show you the way through her interview below.

Talk about Hip2Save, including when it was launched and why, the significance of the name to you, the focus of the site, beneficial features and associations.

Hip2Save was launched in 2008, and its name came about because I quickly learned that it really is ‘HIP’ to ‘SAVE’ and a lot more fun and rewarding than overspending and dealing with debt. Hip2Save has evolved into a nationally-recognized coupon and savings blog. It’s affiliated with Today.com and a multitude of customer-friendly retailers.

What makes your Hip2Save unique as compared to other “coupon” sites?

I infuse my personality into the site and strive to validate each offer to ensure that it is, in fact, truly a good deal.

What is the one piece of advice you would give to moms who may be interested in beginning a blog or website?

Make sure that you are very passionate about your area of interest because blogging requires a tremendous amount of work and dedication.

Yes, Hip2Save is my only online entity.

Who is the entrepreneur or business leader you most admire and why?

My father, Ed Berube, who used his passion and drive to succeed in business and who encouraged me to do the same.

Do you support – either formally or informally – a particular social cause?  If so, how and why.

We love giving back to those less fortunate in our local community.

When all is said and done, what is the one thing you hope your loved ones and those who knew you remember about you?

That I lived life to the fullest.

Down-to-earth, full-of-life, and a love for what she does, Collin is as HIP as HIP can be.  She also understands how to save and she’s passing that savings onto you every chance she gets.  I suggest you take advantage of this woman’s wisdom and monetary savvy. Both are invaluable and worth every penny you keep along with the peace of mind that arrives with not drowning in debt. To me, that’s 'true' love and a romance worth embracing for eternity.
